2 Reasons Why We’re Anticipating It (Click Drop-Downs Below)

#1) It Stars Mel Gibson

Everybody knows about Mel Gibson‘s personal issues; some are even unable or unwilling to forgive him for what he did and understandably so. But even these troubles are not enough to make us forget about his talents in front of camera. With The Beaver, he attempts to rebuild his career and his image one small step at a time.

#2) Jodie Foster is in the Director's Chair

As an actress, Jodie Foster, as nothing left to prove, however as a filmmaker she really hasn’t proven anything. The Beaver is her chance to prove that she has what it takes to helm a major motion picture. Luckily for her, she has two great actors involved: Mel Gibson and of course herself.

I've always loved movies, but it wasn't until under the tutelage of Professor Garry Leonard at the University of Toronto that my passion for the industry became an understanding of an art form. With a specific fascination in both the western genre and Asian cinema in general, I am of the view that good movies are either enlightening or entertaining, and if you are truly lucky they are both.
