A24 is easily one of the most exciting studios working today. They started the year taking home Oscars for both Room and Ex Machina, and The Witch marked its place as a solid box office hit. The A24 film catalogue is so diverse and exciting, but their next film may be their strangest and most niche outing yet.
Swiss Army Man stars Paul Dano as a man marooned on an island with no hope in sight. Just before he is about to hang himself, he spots another man washed up on shore (Daniel Radcliffe) who despite appearing dead could help the two of them escape the island.
Swiss Army Man made its debut at Sundance earlier this year, and is set for a limited rollout beginning June 17. Mary Elizabeth Winstead also stars in the film, which is directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.
