Paradise Lost (2014)
After premiering and receiving favorable reviews at Telluride Film Festival this past weekend, Paradise Lost now has a full length international trailer ahead of its Toronto International Film Festival showing. From writer-director Andrea Di Stefano, making her directorial debut, the film tells the story of a young Canadian surfer that meets the woman of her dreams. The only catch is that her uncle happens to be Pablo Escobar. As can be expected, things go and get messy from there. Paradise Lost stars Josh Hutcherson, Brady Corbet, and Benicio Del Toro as Escobar (because, duh). Paradise Lost will play TIFF on September 6th and is scheduled for a US release on November 26th.
