God Help the Girl (2014)

Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch decided that for his directorial debut he’d keep things a bit musical. God Help the Girl, written and directed by Murdoch, is a coming-of-age musical that follows a girl using music to work through her struggles as she meets two like minded musicians at their own crossroads. Starring Emily Browning, Olly Alexander, Hannah Murray, God Help the Girl premiered at Sundance earlier this year and is set to hit theaters and Vimeo On Demand on September 5th.
