Trainwreck (2015)
We haven’t really heard much from Judd Apatow since 2012’s This Is 40. The man responsible for comedic milestones like Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin has been spending most of his time producing Anchorman 2 and HBO’s Girls. Now he is teaming up with Amy Schumer for Trainwreck. Schumer, who not only stars in the film but shares the sole writing credit, has written a tale about a woman trying to rebuild her life. There is an impressive ensemble at play here that includes the likes of Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton, Brie Larson, Lebron James, John Cena and many more.
Trainwreck will make its debut at SXSW in March, with its theatrical release to follow on July 17.
