Thus goes the premise for Cooties, the zombie comedy starring Elijah Wood, Alison Pill and Rainn Wilson. Directed by first-time filmmakers Carey Murnion and Jonathan Milott, the film debut at Sundance in 2014 and was picked up by Lionsgate for distribution. Based on a script by Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan, the cast also includes orge Garcia, Leigh Whanell, Jack McBrayer and Nasim Pedrad. It is set for a September 18 release.
Synopsis:
A mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages. An unlikely hero must lead a motley band of teachers in the fight of their lives.
