It’s been three years since Joel and Ethan Coen gave us Inside Llewyn Davis. In the meantime, the prolific duo provided script work for other directors on traditional Hollywood films like Bridge of Spies and Unbroken, but their absence from directing has certainly been felt. At long last, the Coens have returned with a new comedy set in the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Josh Brolin stars as Eddie Mannix, a studio exec who over the course of one day has to contend with a wide variety of problems. The film also stars George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum. The film is currently set for a February 5, 2016, release date.
