Based on a true story, American Sniper stars Bradley Cooper as U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who served four tours in Iraq and quickly became the most lethal sniper in U.S. history. The film recounts his military career, which includes more than 150 confirmed kills.
WB will release American Sniper in limited release for an Oscar-qualifying run on Christmas Day, followed by an expanded theatrical release in January.
