San Andreas (2015)
The last couple of day has seen some headlines about San Andreas, in particular, first images from the film. Having not looked at or read any more than the headlines of these articles, I had been under the impression that this film was the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas adaptation that legions of gamers had been waiting for. I mean, it has Dwayne Johnson, who was built for video game action (oh hey, Doom). Now with this teaser trailer I have discovered just how wrong I was.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.
But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.
San Andreas also stars Alexandra Daddario and Carla Gugino, and is scheduled for release May 29, 2015.
