ProjectionCast is back again, but our hosts find themselves at odds over…well, nearly every film they discuss. NP Awards Guru/Film Critic Jason McKiernan and NP Founder Chris Misch throw down over everything from Sicario to Mississippi Grind to even the new Bond theme song. Jason also offers his thoughts (uncontested) on Robert Zemeckis’ The Walk, which just opened this year’s New York Film Festival, and Nancy Meyers’ The Intern, which which may feature Robert De Niro’s best performance in a decade (really).

Meanwhile, NP Director of Special Features Ryan Gimarc joins the podcast to offer thoughts on Jafar Panahi’s Taxi and Sweden’s Oscar submission A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, and to chat with the guys about what’s to come at NYFF, the burgeoning list of foreign film submissions for the 88th Academy Awards, and Crimson Peak surprising audiences at Fantastic Fest.
