After concluding their highly successful run on Comedy Central’s incredibly popular Key and Peele, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are starring in their first movie together. The upcoming Keanu marks a reunion with director Peter Atencio, who directed all but one episode of Key and Peele. Peele plays a man who, after becoming single, adopts a cat and names it Keanu. When Keanu disappears, Peele and his friend, played by Keegan-Michael Key, pose as drug dealers and venture into the criminal underworld to retrieve the beloved pet.
Based off a script from Jordan Peele and Alex Rubens, Keanu also features Luis Guzman, Will Forte and Jason Mitchell. It will open April 29, 2016.
